The pricing menu section is where product prices can be set and maintained.
Net•Yield provides very powerful ways to control pricing for customers, price classes, or items. Through the use of price exceptions, pricing adjustments can be applied to all customers, groups of customers, a customer masking, a price class, or to specific customers. This may be done for a single type of item or group of items. Daily base selling prices can be adjusted by a fixed dollar amount per invoicing unit, or a percentage of the selling price.
The regular product selling price can also be replaced with a special fixed price for certain customers, against which other exceptions may be applied. These pricing exceptions can be tied to particular days of the week, how many days in advance of shipping the order is placed, or a minimum order quantity. The price exceptions can even be set to start on a given date, and expire on a given date. A fixed price exception entered for a customer will override all other prices and exceptions associated with that item. Users can control whether the system uses "market" costs (which you specify) or whether to calculate selling prices based on the true product, procurement, and selling charges. This provides tremendous customized pricing flexibility.
